INTRODUCTION:
The organization "Farmers Solidarity for Agricultural and Social Development" is dedicated to promoting the welfare of farmers and the development of agriculture. With its Swahili translation "Ushirika wa wakulima kwa maendeleo ya kilimo na ya kijamii" and the French abbreviation translation "Sopadas," the organization aims to reach a wider audience and make an impact on a global scale. Officially registered on 27 June 2022 in the United States with registration number 1216672, the organization is committed to supporting farmers and their communities and improving agricultural practices for sustainable development.
Through its initiatives and programs, the organization strives to create a more prosperous and equitable future for farmers and agricultural development.
Sopadas has achieved a milestone by establishing its first branch in Africa, with its headquarters located in the Urambo district, Tabora region, in Tanzania. The branch was officially registered on November 21, 2023, at the international level and has been assigned the registration number (00NGO/R/5549).
Sopadas has also registered another branch in D.R. Congo early this year, 2024, with a Rrg:No:F.92/57.148 This marks a significant step in the expansion of Sopadas into new territories and demonstrates the organization's commitment to serving communities beyond its original base.

Shirika la "Farmers Solidarity for Agricultural and Social Development" limejitolea kukuza ustawi wa wakulima na maendeleo ya kilimo. Kwa tafsiri yake ya Kiswahili "Ushirika wa wakulima kwa maendeleo ya kilimo na kijamii" na tafsiri ya kifupi ya Kifaransa "Sopadas," shirika linalenga kufikia hadhira pana na kuleta athari katika kiwango cha kimataifa. Shirika lilisajiliwa rasmi tarehe 27 Juni 2022 nchini Marekani kwa nambari ya usajili 1216672, shirika limejitolea kusaidia wakulima na jamii zao na kuboresha mbinu za kilimo kwa maendeleo endelevu.
Kupitia mipango na programu zake, shirika linajitahidi kuunda mustakabali wenye mafanikio na usawa kwa wakulima na maendeleo ya kilimo.
Shirika la Sopadas limepata mafanikio makubwa kwa kuanzisha tawi lake la kwanza barani Afrika, huku makao yake makuu yakiwa katika wilaya ya Urambo, mkoani Tabora, nchini Tanzania. Tawi hilo lilisajiliwa rasmi Novemba 21, 2023, katika ngazi ya kimataifa na limepewa nambari ya usajili (00NGO/R/5549).
Sopadas pia imesajili tawi lingine huko D.R. Kongo mapema mwaka wa 2024, ikiwa na Rrg: No: F.92/57.148.
Hii inaashiria hatua muhimu katika upanuzi wa Sopadas hadi maeneo mapya na inaonyesha dhamira ya shirika kuhudumia jamii zaidi ya msingi wake wa awali.
