Youth and Women Agriculture Project:
The organization has recently initiated an agriculture project geared towards youth and women in Tanzania, with the aim of uniting these two groups to jointly manage and oversee the project.
Both the youth and women have undergone agricultural training and are now putting their newly acquired knowledge into practice. The project, which commenced in April 2024, seeks to empower the participants by providing them with the opportunity to take charge of a real-life agricultural endeavor. By working together,
The youth and women are not only gaining valuable hands-on experience but are also contributing towards the sustainable development of their community.
The project is a testament to the organization's commitment to promoting gender equality and youth empowerment through practical skill-building initiatives.
The key to success is hard work and pushing ourselves to strive for more. A visit to the agriculture officer's office provided valuable information on how to become successful farmers. The officer also took the initiative to provide agricultural training, with a focus on empowering young women. The training included setting up a demonstration farm for planting a variety of crops, including Chinese cabbage, water tomatoes, cabbage, and bitter tomatoes. This hands-on training will undoubtedly equip the aspiring farmers with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the agricultural industry.
